Paul has been in Chef Recruitment for 9 years, rising from the role of consultant to General Manager of the Chefs division of Berkeley Scott and more recently as Director of Chefs Division at Woodhouse Hughes.

His specialist and considerable knowledge of the Chef world is rooted in his earlier career as a Chef and restaurateur spread over 15 years.

Paul's background as a Chef took him through leading hotels in London and the Thames Valley including the world renowned Cliveden in Berkshire, Intercontinental Hotels and Fredericks in Maidenhead.

He went on to open his own restaurant in Cheltenham gaining 2 AA rosettes and recognition by all the major food guides. Deciding to move "out of the frying pan and into the fire" he moved into recruitment …..and has never looked back!!.

Ian has a good head for heights and rose rapidly through food and beverage operations, predominately in the Country House and red star market. His last role in operations was as a General Manager with the Exclusive Hotels group

With 10 years in operations he moved in 1999 into recruitment and held Management roles with two of the Market Leaders, more recently as General Manager of the South East with Woodhouse Hughes. Prior to that Ian spent 4 years with the Berkeley Scott group recruiting middle to senior management.
